Flintshire's Favorite Dance Hall and Events Venue
The Academy is Buckley's newest venue, and possibly the oldest.
Incorporating a great atmospheric 1920s Licensed DanceHall plus a separate studio.
The Academy consists of a Main Hall which boasts a great maple sprung dance floor, and unique arched stage... a fully Licensed Bar, and an attached Dance Studio, plus a separate sports injury treatment suite, all of which are available for hire.
Throughout the week the hall is open for a variety of classes and events, including dance,
fitness, and social events.
Weeekday evenings are Adult dance class/social evenings.
The hall and studio are both open for hire for :
Classes, Weddings, Wakes, Parties, Conferences, etc.
Our music & caberet nights are the perfect place to relax, unwind, and have a great time.

Sunday is 'DanceJive' Modern Jive
Monday is Tango, Rock'n'Roll and Ballroom & Latin
Tuesday is Pole-dancing, Basix Wrestling school, and Rosemary Conley
Wednesday is Zumba and Improvers' Salsa
Thursday is Bellydance, Beginners' Salsa !!!
Thursday is also now our Junior LATIN FEVER (ballroom&latin) classes - 5:30-6:30
We also have daytime classes including Rosemary Conley & Linedancing
FRIDAY AND SATURDAY - The Venue is available for Weddings,
Birthday Parties (inc 18ths), Christenings, Wakes etc....
Weekdays, The Academy is available for use for conferences
(up to 200 heads) and training days etc.
We can also arrange special functions such as Hen nights
with Pole a Dancing lesson/party !!! or stag do's with a casino night...
